Hi,
I am trying to install tails 1.5 on an usb-stick. I loaded it down and verified
it. Then I followed your instruction "Manual installation using Mac".
You are writing in your instruction: "If you are not sure about the path to the
ISO image or if you get a No such file or directory error, you can first type
dd, followed by a space, and then drag and drop the icon of the ISO image from a
file browser onto Terminal." I am not good in programming, but is this correct?
Shouldn't it be "dd if=" instead of only "dd" and then copying the path into the
command?. I did this, and it worked.
But this brought me to my next problem: I got the error-message "Permission
denied".
Then I tried to get along, as you write, with the sudo-command, and now look
what happened:

sudo dd if=/Users/Haperic/Downloads/tails-i386-1.5.iso of /dev/disk2 bs=16m &&
sync

Sorry, try again.

sudo: 3 incorrect password attempts

What kind of passsword is required? I tried the administrator-password for my
Mac, but it did not work.
Please help me.
Sincerely yours

Hans
