Hey, Its a bit of navigating, but here is how you add your keyboard layout:
From the menu bar at the top, select 'Applications', then System Tools > Preferences > System Settings > Hardware > Keyboard > click the link 'Layout Settings' at the bottom. Now, just click the '+' botton below the list of installed layouts to select and add your keyboard layout.
