Yes, it is Intel Core2Quad Q6600 x64

Me neither, I saw it only in 2.7, never flashed the screen when I used any
previous version, but I don't think it's related, since the message
replies with status "ok".

I doubt it, I'm running 64bit OS as a main OS and other 64-bit Windows
from a different partition.
