Hi there,

I have a Dell XPS 9550 (2015 model) and I'm running Windows 10. Preface,
"intermediary tails" on the first USB stick would only work when in
Troubleshooting mode. So I had to continue the process on Troubleshooting
mode from that point on.

So fast forward to rebooting my laptop with the Final Tails on the second
USB stick.

When it asks to login on the Welcome Screen, I click login. Then, for some
reason, it asks me to login again after a few seconds (for a second time).
So I click Login again.

When I click Login, it actually just freezes on the blue screen (the tails
background blue screen) with tails not actually loading. However, I can see
my mouse on the screen, and the mouse is working. (so picture a blank blue
screen, where you can move your mouse).

So I must power down the machine with the power button. Upon reboot, I F12
again to load from the USB stick. This time I try to Login with the
Troubleshooting mode. It works. However, all the icons on the screen are
super tiny (almost like a Tails has trouble with the resolution in this
mode) and also, I dont see an option for wifi. Needless to say, I didn't
want to continue with this mode anyway.

So I don't know how to get Tails the loading normal way. I think the answer
lies in the bios settings, so if anybody can take me through this if would
be great. Please note, I would like specific informational guidance on the
bios, not just general advice on a typical windows bios machine. The bios
menu on this machine has tons of options.

Very frustrating, as on my old Dell Inspiron I had no issue with Tails --
and that machine is from 7 years ago.

Anyways, I hope somebody can help me!

Thank you!

Superfly
