I wrote some software that interfaces with the web browser. However, it
seems that tor does not communicate with "localhost" at my arbitrary
port (3000). I unblocked the port with iptables and am able to
communicate to it via "nc localhost 3000". However, the tor-browser
can't seem to even open a socket connection to this port. Which is
weird because I would imagine there is no security problem with this.

Does anyone know if this is a setting in "tails" that I am missing or
a setting in "tor-browser" that I am missing?
