You could also try again and then click on the "Advanced" button. There
you will find information about the certificate which will help you to
verify if it's genuine or if you are under attack.

Note that in trains or airports it also sometimes happens that you get
such certificate errors, as the companies operating the wifi points
there try to redirect you to their login page in an unclean manner (if
you're not logged into their service yet that is).
