Department of Planning and Infrastructure (NT) has a bunch of data uploaded to data.australia.gov.au which includes lat/lon:
http://data.australia.gov.au/76 This spread sheet includes schools, parks, fire/ambulence stations, libraries, museums and aboriginal communities.
