As far as I'm aware no, simply because as you pointed out 70cm in 10 years is less than the 3-5m accuracy offered by consumer grade GPS kit, also yahoo imagery is out in place up to 20+ metres, so the drift of the Australian continent is a minor source of error. Is it possible to have a method to easily switch between WGS84 and GDA94?
