I've spent hours today searching the wiki without success. Can I download a route relation (a list of nodes which constitute the route)?
I note that the "Complete Google Maps KML file of Heysen Trail" can be downloaded free for use in a GPS unit which supports routes: http://www.heysentrail.asn.au/heysen_trail/maps.php I've downloaded this and converted it to a gpx file with gpsbabel - even JOSM likes the result.
