If you want a relatively cheap device for geotagging, there are the Jobo photogps devices and some from DXG. You put them in the hotshoe of a camera. It has been out for some time. For reverse geocoding, it uses OSM. Disclaimer: I am linked to the company providing the chipset ;) Emilie Laffray
