Not sure how useful it'd be in Australia, but the massive floods all over Australia, except for the bush fires near Perth of course, might do well to map a lot of effected areas from Bing where coverage exists.
It might be worth while trying to get additional coverage for areas effected for humanitarian reasons, after all they're searching for bodies in Toowoomba not just people.
