Try to silence the annoying, recalcitrant, users like John all you like Master
Slater, but for every noisy one like him there are ten like me who are just
sitting here reading in amazement at the sheer arrogance that is being
displayed ... and the amount of spin being put it all would put Shane Warne to
shame.
I plan to stay to the very death of OSM as I know it... unless I am censored
as well and banned or something.
I won't be participating in the group though.
Bully boy tactics don't go down well with me.

As suggested by the #osm irc channel, I think you have misspelt 'whining'. ;-)
Quick review of the violations of wikiquette which caused the wiki

Sugar coat it all you want, but what action did you take against
anyone else involved?

Without wasting my time looking at the wiki
this business is as well organised as a schoolyard
Set of rules made by one group, complaints handled by same group,
prosecution handled by same group, judgement made by same group,
punishment handled by same group.
Whether something is attended or not attended is at a whim.
I still do not have an answer other than "I'm busy right now"
concerning a mapper who admitted to copying from google and whose edits
have not been reverted - a 12 month period since I first contacted the
mapper concerning their edits in Australia.

Are you saying you are blocked, or someone else?

blocked, so I'm most likely going to start an aussie wiki and not care

Grant has absolutely no respect for user wishes, he's defaced my own
wiki page, which I can no longer edit, after I left a note asking
people not to edit my wiki page.

I am sorry this has come to pass.
It appears that some baby has a burr in their nappy and has taken it out
on you. I really don't know if I care what it was you did - real or
imagined - to provoke this.
However, it does make me a little sorry for the burr.
Master Slater is the single greatest advertisement I know of for not
further associating with the growing canker that OSM has become. Not
satisfied with merely driving away map contributors, it appears his
overweening ambition is to extend this to wiki users.
What next, Poland?
Frankly I'd think twice about using the OSM messaging system, as I note
your (new!) sharedmap wiki page recommends...
Regards,
Tim.

At this stage I'm playing about with options and most likely will not
be making many changes initially to the information that will appear
there... The wikia.com option has to many annoying flash based ads for
my liking, and the sharedmap wiki config is still being tweaked to be
useful...
