That just means that Java isn't on your path.

Where Java.exe will be will depend on your version of windows, and which version of Java you installed.

You'll probably find it somewhere like here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_32\bin

or here:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Although (as somebody else mentioned) you can download pre-built Garmin maps of various types, if you want to combine various bits of data you'll need to roll your own at some point, and you might as well start now.
