A bit late to the party but anyway: I wonder if we should add a sentence about verifiability (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Verifiability) like:
"If you are mapping private areas, make sure you only include details that [other mappers can verify]( https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Verifiability)" This covers the case like me who does map private roads etc but only where others can see them from the street or from the air etc. Indeed I'd like to map a swimming pool but can't as no-one else can verify it as is not visible from above, nor from any public place.
