When I have added bus stop names in the past, using signposts or local knowledge, I have avoided abbreviations as I have understood that to be usual OSM practice. I am familiar with abbreviations so I am comfortable with them, especially "St" instead of "Street" and "Dr" instead of "Drive". Both methods convey the necessary information to users so I have no strong view. My particular request is to avoid capitalising words other than street or place names so that "Opp" would be "opposite" or "opp" and "After" would be "after" without capital letter. I don't think these intermediary words are usually capitalised and it was this unfamiliar capitalisation that jarred with me as I read the names of the bus stops. Whichever way it is done, this data will be a welcome addition to OSM. Thanks.
