I'm in Belgrave South, you can't be too far away, we must be almost
neighbours.
In the unlikely event that we can't finish off the planting on the
day, the Friends of Lysterfield Park will finish off, probably the
following Wednesday which is a regular volunteering day. The Friends
will remove the tree guards in about 6 months.
If I get another group wanting to offset emissions with an
environmentally sensitive planning I would probably do it again.
Thanks for the warning about storm damage, I was on Stonemasons and
Channel Tracks today and didn't see any damage. This planting is on
nearby Ridge Track. I was clearing fallen trees on walking and bike
tracks round Lysterfield Lake Wednesday and Thursday and there was
little damage.

parkconnect.vic.gov.au) we volunteer Wednesdays and Thursdays.

As a Osgeo Oceania member, Victorian, local of dandenongs, SDCN member, I
am super sad to say I canât make it as I have a family function.
If there are any pre or post events to complete the planting I am happy to
put my hand up! Please let me know!
Of note the area has suffered a lot of damage. Ensure you donât get too
close to large fallen trees, especially the roots!
