Noticed a week or so ago that one of the major arterial roads nearby has
been changed from highway=primary to highway=trunk, which doesn't seem
quite right, especially as it has bike lanes on each side for most of it's
length, & one of the defaults for trunk is no bikes.

Attempted to contact the user via changeset comments but no response after
a week or so, & they haven't mapped for ~6 months.

When I started looking around, I found that this user has done the same
thing on several other Gold Coast roads, including roads that are very much
either residential or commercial use:

everything remotely?

Could somebody please have a look & tell me if my interpretation of the
guidelines is correct, & that these should stay as highway=primary?

Thanks

Graeme
