A lot of these stores are likely to be undergoing branding changes with Viva Energy purchasing OTR, so a number of these will likely end up needing to be changed soon to match the new OTR/Reddy Express branding.

One thing I have done generally with petrol stations with substantial convenience stores is to map each one separately on the grounds that one can then easily search for either fuel or food. Does that make sense here?

 I’ve been asked a question about the naming of Coles Express service stations.

Signs generally have the Shell symbol on top, with Coles Express below this.

I’ve looked at a few, and the tags are generally (for amenity=fuel):
brand=Coles Express or brand=Shell
brand:wikidata=Q5144653 / brand:wikipedia=en:Coles Express (for some stations, with either brand labels)
name=Coles Express
website=https://www.colesexpress.com.au/

The question I’ve been asked (at changeset https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/145789477) is regarding the correct tags.

Option 1:
brand=shell / name=shell
brand:wikidata change to Shell’s Wikidata code (?Q110716465?

Option 2:
brand=Shell;Coles Express
brand:wikidata listing both

I’ve generally used brand=Shell, but left the Wikidata and Wikipedia links alone. Any thoughts about tagging?
