Some months ago this the issue of jaagpad/chemin de halage was also
discussed here.
One of the last advices of the thread was to use cycleway if cycling is
permitted but all other traffic is forbidden except traffic for service.
The explanation was that on all cycleways service cars for maintenance have
access. As a result I changed some of those paved ways along the
Albertkanaal in Limburg in this way when I met them.
