That last is probably very true, that's my opinion as well that he's not seeing the existing ones. He's not seeing the message I wrote last week for sure. No one is home there.
Don't think I blamed Osmand, but Jo just mentioned that this is a possibility, and in fact. Editors that do not "show it all" should stick to making notes to prevent this situation, I aggree with Jo on that. In the end, it's the user that despite good intentions is the sole responsible for a mistake.
In the end I care more about solving this than solving the blame, App makers (be it webbased or not) should also implement the simple message communication system in OSM. It's very hard to reach this person now.
