Why is there any doubt that the preferred format for the that is the
ISO-date ?

 Track from GPS unit (usually GPX fomat) or other physical survey;
suggested addition -survey:date

it's pretty clear that it is an ISO date. Of course not all editors verify
all data field in that much detail.

Which of the key that I mentioned (and I forgot turn restrictions) don't
you see as essential ?
