Hi, We mapped some "marchés gratuits" with this tag. The pitch of those "marchés gratuits" : you can leave in a box items you do not need, and other people might pick them.
There is a proposed feature for this : http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Reuse Example : http://1000bxlentransition.be/marche-gratuit/ Problem : some of them are permanent, some are only once/month (and I didn't know it on Saturday - we should have prepared this. What we could do : - relaunch procedure for this tag proposal ; - add some "opening hours" to explain when the market take place. But I do not know how to map "the last Saturday of the month"...
