[]s Arlindo Olá comunidade, há algumas semanas tivemos uma ideia de ação global que gostaríamos de anunciar hoje: www.nightofthelivingmaps.org Na quinta-feira, dia 07/02/2012 nós iremos virar a madrugada traçando imagens de satélite para áreas que hoje nós atualmente não temos muitas informações: a zona rural. Fora das grandes cidades. Infelizmente não temos grandes eventos internacionais aqui no OSM, então pensamos porque não fazer isso como uma 'LAN party'? Então gostaríamos de pedir para você passar a mensagem para sua comunidade OSM local, se vocês não gostariam de iniciar uma pequena mapping party local. Não é tanto trabalho, geralmente dá para conseguir uma sala na universidade/hackerspace/governo local/... de graça. Então você precisa apenas de alguns notebook e café para que a festa comece ;) Nós pensamos que seria também bem legal se vocês enviarem os changesets com um comentário començando com '#notlm...', de forma que possamos visualizar quais foram feitos no evento e fazer animações legais. Memso que não tenhamos com esse evento o objetivo principal de promover o OSM e atrair novos mapeadores, seria legal se vocês pudessem mostrar o evento para outras pessoas. Mas nesse caso, acreditamos que esta seja a melhor escolha (veja dicas no Wiki). Atualmente não parece haver uma resposta definitiva sobre que técnica é certa ou errada, talvez possamos decidir isso quando os anos se passarem e então olhemos para trás. Então, por agora, vamos fazer o que nós somos bons em fazer: criar juntos um mapa realmente bom :) valeu! Outside the big cities of your counties. Sadly we have no real big international events here at OSM, maybe we can change that with this 'LAN party'? So we please you, to ask your local OSM community, if they doesn't want to start a small local party. It's not that much work, usually you can get a room by univeristy/Hackerspace/local goverment/... for free. Then you just need a few notebooks and Coffee to get the party started ;) We thought that it would be great, if you submit your changesets with a comment starting with '#notlm...', so we are able to select them for animations or just view where all of you are working. Even if it's not the main goal to promote OSM and to attract newbies, it would be great, if you could present your event to others. But in this case, we believe, that it is a good compromise (see hints in Wiki). Currently there seem to be no definitive answer if this technique is right or wrong, maybe we can decide on this when years passed and we can take a look back.
