Which is better for bandstands? Public Building or Arts Centre? I could be happy enough with either one, and one could make a good case for either choice. Until a specific bandstand/bandshell tag is approved however I would like to see one choice settled upon... > BTW, purists will insist that a bandstand is not a bandshell. Going back to Perth, ON, one of the big stores in town is "Shaws of Perth", a clothing shop that earlier this year had it's 149th annual sale. Until the whole question of shop tags gets ironed out how do people tag big / visible shops that are not part of the CURRENT name scheme? I have uploaded 9 GPS tracks I collected in Perth (after editing with pico), so, Perth and area now have just over 12,500 more data points (granted a fair bit of overlap in some parts of town, like Gore Street (it is possible to go north/south through Perth and avoid Gore, but normally not worth the bother), and I did not get some of the small side streets). Still a vast improvement over what was there before Also a question of data sources, my grandfather owed, a cottage on one of the lakes near Perth, ON. So, I know the name of the lake, but I am not sure of the names of the small rivers that lead in/out of the lake. With street names you can go look at sign posts and copy from there, with river names, not so simple. So, how does one find a good non-encumbered data source for things like river names?
