Hi there,I tried to summarize the latest about this on the new wiki page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Importing_Government_Data#Summary:_Options Where the option for tracing would only be used in highly OSM mapped areas, and only used as a supplement, just as users who normally dont have a GPS would use the Yahoo imagery. But, am i right to assume that rendering such a map would probably not be worth it, as it would be just as easy to only extract from TIGER cerain sections and data types, and only grab a section of it to import to JOSM, and than manually compare and update the changes. Is this how it's done?? But however, Rendering such a map (only using the update files) would probably be a valuable option, after the 1st round of GeoBase & CanVec data is imported. Would you agree?
