Hi, Im wondering if someone is able to help and upload a sample of the geobase2osm roads data to the area? (I haven't yet learned how, but will) ... in the mean time it would be great to see a sample area done here. and perhaps run the new script with the StatsCan data. (if needed). .... but i did remember how to make a Garmin map with the contours, so the OSM - Canada Map can be made :-) (If anyone wants to help, please do speak up)
Its 092c13 .. would be greatly appreciated. What I just discovered, is that facebook is a great tool to find people in the local areas. .. I just found local facebook groups, and im sure there would be 1 from each area. So thats 1 way to get the word out to find local area people who are into using GPS and maps. (BTW, i'll physically be in the Ucluelet area myself, that's why i choose it) :-) The upload process is slow and steady, ... even after the canvec2osm script gets past the BETA stage... but i think that it's the best way to get it done. .. manually uploading each feature area 1 at a time.
