Hi Simon & talk-ca, I'm doing more on the canvec2osm, and trying to decide what todo about countours.
Have you figured out how to make transparent contour IMG files that can be installed along with the downloaded OSM map so its usable? Or is that something that mkgmap can do (make the OSM map be transparent so contours will show)? Just brainstorming here.
