Hi Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition members, We finally made progress on the map, but we need the help of all cyclists to make sure all the bike lanes, paved cycleways, and bike routes get listed.
I am hosting a special meet-up event for GVCC (and other cyclists who like to learn about maps), so you can learn: -how to use the map -how to print the map -how to edit the map -how to incorporate the map for different things -the history of the map & about copyright etc. It's open to all levels of interest, and experience. And we learn by doing, teaching and sharing ideas. A lot of work has been done already on OpenCycleMap.org, but we need cyclists who can help update the map in more detail.
