Hi, james & richard, So your creating a script independently of canvec-to-osm?
Using java or python? If its python, then thats EXACTLY the revision of the script im working on. The python version could PLEASE handle just the multi-polygons. That way, we have no toe stepping on. Canvec-to-osm now deals with the rivers just fine. Or .... Are you making a full canvec2osm python version, without at least cc'ing me? If Richard wants to take the lead for the maintaining of the script(s) & uploading/archiving, all he has todo is just say so. I'm happy to let someone else get it all done. :-) I can then work on the next step, which is dealing with LIO data. Cheers, Sam On 11/5/09, James A.
