> Cool, > then my guess was correct :-) Sam,
I can assure you that there is no "we don't want you to be working with the import process anymore" aspect to the unfortunate fact you were not given the chance to express your points at the meeting on Saturday. First, we could barely hear you. Second, and this is largely my fault, I believe we covered too much ground for a single meeting. My own expectation was that we were going to actually import data using the script. For a host of reasons, among which having too broad a scope for the meeting, we didn't get to that point so in a sense you didn't miss anything ;-). Frank did a very good job of a presentation (thanx again Frank!), but due to lack of time he didn't have time to actually do any import. I will make sure if we hold another such meeting that we have more focused objectives so that all participants are happy. On the plus side, I was very pleased to hear about the Corine import and have a presentation of JOSM capabilities. We also discussed some CTIS internal processes like how to integrate "versions" of Canvec back and forth in/to OSM. In the end, the meeting was more of an info party than a couch party so it met some participants expectations but not others. I'll make sure we don't make the mistake of not having enough time for our meeting goals the next time around.
