Sweet, others answered better :-) And YES, the OSM Canada team should get more involved with the now 4 local OSGeo Canada chapters.
We have a wealth of untapped potential and recources available to us. As we ALL can make use of OSM in some way (sometimes indirect) My hopes is to make time to make it to the Vancouver OSGeo AGM.
