yup im serious :) 2 months is enough to get this little island done and a shining example of what the rest of the country will be like :)
at the rate im going, just 1 tile per day, i'll have most of it done. so as more people are helping, it gets done faster. note that it's just vancouver island.... the lower mainland is fa more complex and will take longer.... we already have alot of the vistoria area and cvrd mostly complete*. complete enough that you can pick up any tourist map, and see at al the detailed listedin the map are available in osm. anyway, on irc adam mentione about the geobase nhn, we might be able to create nts sized pieces of the waer basins, as it only effects this side of the coast mountains. and for statscan boundaries, waiting until october might be a good idea too. and hey, with more peope working on just 1 tile per day, it'll all get done in no tine :-) cheers, sam On 8/5/10, Michael Barabanov <[email protected]> wrote: > I'm guessing it's a joke.
