Bonjour Adam and all,

The listing of all zipped .osm files is now available on ftp site. The listing
is updated each time a new .zip file gets available. If a .zip file is
replaced, the corresponding information is also replaced. The listing has more
than 100 thousands entries (4Mb).

The listing can be found at ftp://ftp2.cits.rncan.gc.ca/osm/pub/ZippedOsm.txt
It contains the size in bytes, creation date/time and the name of each .osm
file. The entries are sorted by creation date/time.

Hi Adam,

I understand the expected usage but It will not be possible on short terms.

However, I will try to create a listing of all .osm files using a time field.
If possible, it should be updated at each .zip file creation for the next
release - a new .zip file should triggered an update of the listing for each
.osm subtitle.

Daniel

I was intending for the file listing to be sorted alphabetically, while the rss
one would be sorted chronologically. Having a timestamp field in the file
listing could work though.
The advantage to having the RSS/Atom format is that people can plug it into
RSS/Atom/xml readers if they use any.

        Bonjour Adam,

        About point 1...
I'll see what can be done and, if possible, I will produce it for this
release.

        About point 2...
If the text file proposed on point 1 have a date and time field, you
could get all the information you are looking for in a single .txt file. Am I
right?

        Cheers,

        Daniel
