Hi, I did add a note in the chart, and went ahead and created a new column for user notes And added 'Proposed Features' as a Theme code, so they could be sorted and looked at.
You can use the talk page for discussions (it's the recommended practice) http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Shoulder Personally, i prefer to not use the colin separator, as i'd rather each specific tag gave a function, as a 'choice' of yes/no/unknown as a 'freetext' answer responce. and where it needs to be further defined, more attribute tags can be used. At least this is how i see the majority of the other map features like. Sorry i didn't actually respond correctly yesterday, Cheers, Sam On Tue, Oct 5, 2010 at 10:56 AM, john whelan <[email protected]> wrote: > paved shoulders suitable for bicycles but not signed cycle lane? > > shoulder:access:bicycle=yes > > wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Shoulder > > Thoughts? > > Thanks > > Cheerio John > > On 5 October 2010 12:57, Sam Vekemans <[email protected]> wrote: >> Hi talk-ca Canadian Mappers, >> >> Just sending this out >> https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Am70fsptsPF2dGZBb3FfWHlhWTVBTGZ5ZV81LVFSMkE&hl=en >> >> I have now done the legwork of copying the entire Map Features Wiki >> Page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Map_Features >> So then it becomes more usable and transportable into other things, (i >> created a PDF file out of it, and included it in the latest zip of >> SchemaTroll 2.01) >> >> Feel free to edit it, and make changes.
