Dear All, The API Read-Only time is continuing as expected. Normal Read-Write operation should be back midday on the 4th as scheduled. Then we can get back to editing.
Things of which we should be aware. The API will come back on the new DB server. This is awesome. bigger / better, etc. But as ever, with changes, there might be hiccups. Be patient if you run in to problems and check on IRC for the latest info. Once the normal API operation is back, automated data cleaning will commence. First in smaller test areas, then larger test areas, then over the rest of the planet. These background cleaning tasks could cause editing conflicts just as another mapper would.
