J.P.,

Service New Brunswick (SNB) has started a project to create the New
Brunswick Road Network (NBRN). The NBRN will actually be produced
through the Department of Public Safety and it's agency - Ambulance
New Brunswick. SNB will provide some guidance, QC, and funding. I
mention the NBRN project because the NBRN data will include block-face
addressing on the road segments. Is it possible that the NBRN data
will be a better data source for addressing in OSM instead of the
civic address points? I don't know the answer but I hope this
information will be helpful.

Depends. I remember you bringing this up at the last Fredericton mappy hour. They'd both have their pros and cons...like I said, it looks to me like one may be better in urban areas, the other in rural.

Maybe we could use some sort of hybrid.
