Bonjour, As mentioned in a previous email (1), NRCan is now comparing Osm and Canvec data for planning road network update field work. It is an helpful information and we have decided to provide Osm community with detected differences.
We think that these differences will help the community to keep Osm database up-to-date, as the provided differences will have the following fixme tag values ... Commission - Canvec feature does not match any Osm feature. Missing/Misclassified Osm feature? Omission - Osm feature does not match any Canvec feature. Missing/Misclassified Canvec feature? Unmatched - OSM and Canvec geometries are significantly different. Geometries need to be fixed? Attributes - Osm and Canvec geometries matched but some common attributes differ. Attributes need to be fixed? Only significant differences are provided. Some fixme file samples should be available this weekend.
