Hi Niklas > I would like to work on the borders of national or provincial parks.
Great! There already some in the map, though it seems that many provincial parks are tagged as national parks. > Does anyone know the legal situation? There were some imported from NRCan data, which we're allowed to use, either under an older agreement, or under the OGL-CA licence, which has been cleared for use. Here's some information on the import layer: NRCan Protected Areas - OpenStreetMap Wiki <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/NRCan_Protected_Areas> > Can I just draw the the borders > from park maps, or should I always contact the organizations for clearance? Some of the maps are put together by non-government agencies, and they can be quite protective of the data that they add. cheers, Stewart _______________________________________________ Talk-ca mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-ca
