I know there's GPSDrive, Navit, ..., so I just wrote another small
application to display OSM data. Since it's only v0.0.1, don't expect
wonders:
* Mapnik / PostGIS as backends.
* GTK+2 as graphical frontend.
* Current location is taken via DBus from gpsd.
* Zoom in/out with +/- supported.
* Map moving with cursor keys supported. (You can switch off
interpreting gpsd's fixes for the time.)
MISSING features:
* Display the GPS track.
* Probably write out GPX.
* A simple "Add POI" / "Add note" function to assist in mapping.
* Display of long/lat/alt/speed/heading/...
* World domination.
Suggestions, patches and flames are welcome! Please read the INSTALL
file first, then `make', use afterwards.
