Bonsoir, suite a nos discussions en cours sur la création d'une association française pour OSM, je vous envoie la traduction du mail de Henk Hoff qui s'occupe du groupe de travail sur les chapitres locaux. Je pense que ca peut faire pencher la balance dans un sens ou dans un autre. Je tiens a m'excuser de la piètre qualité de la traduction.
Traduction du mail ci dessous. Il y a une réunion prévue plus tard aujourd'hui. Malheureusement, je ne pourrais pas y participer. Lors de la réunion précédente, nous avons discute des problèmes concernant les taches et les responsabilités des chapitres locaux et de la fondation. Un des points qui n'a pas été discuté était le type d'organisation d'un chapitre local. Je pense que nous pouvons dire qu'il serait préférable que ca soit une organisation indépendante. Toutefois, suite a des discussions dans la communauté, il serait potentiellement possible que des associations existantes puissent devenir un chapitre local. Cela pourrait être l'association elle même ou un comité / une section d'une association plus importante. J'aimerais avoir vos avis si cela est une option avec laquelle on peut travailler. Si cela est le cas, quelles types d'organisation pourraient être des chapitres locaux? - Association touchant a GEO/GIS (par exemple, un groupe d'utilisateur ESRI) - Association du monde libre touchant a GEO/GIS - Association du monde libre ne touchant pas a GEO/GIS - Organisations commerciales - ???? Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this meeting. The previous meeting we've discussed issues concerning tasks/responsibilities of Local Chapters and the Foundation. One of items we didn't discuss is the organisational type of a Local Chapter. I think we can say that this would preferably be an independant organisation. However, there is talk within the community that also existing organisations can become a Local Chapter. Either the organisation itself or as a committee / department of a larger organisation. I would like to hear whether this is an option we could work with.
