Thanks, Nick, this looks very useful. A couple of things:
- the tag editor pane pops up on top of the map, so it often covers up the thing I'm trying to read off the map. I wonder if you could (a) make the text smaller and closer together and then make the pane smaller, maybe use width more than height and (b) put the map as close to the top of the window as possible and the dialog pane as close to the bottom as possible so they don't overlap. Or something like that. - the markers themselves also obscure things, especially in dense areas of coastline or well mapped areas. Could they be little 'x' or the outline of the marker as it is now rather than filled? - an is_in value remembered from last time that could be applied at the touch of a button would be useful - I keep needing the same one over and over.
