What do you mean by 'one of the full tags'? Do you mean it's got several tags 
and only one is shown?

To clarify what you're supposed to do: When you add a point to OSM it will 
appear as a graphic. Then you need to go into "select" mode and click on the 
point to add new tags. A 'created_by' and a 'source' tag should have appeared 
by default.

Yes, you have to click 'search'. I can change that though.
