Reading this thread, the thing that occurs to me is that every other tag
in the system is based on British English, just because that's what we
started with, and it would be horrible to have a mixture. Argubly, in
British English (and even US English) speeds are, by default, in miles
per hour.

I vote that all speed limits must be clarified with a unit, either miles
per hour or kilometers per hour.

The remaining issue is how to mark the units. mph is well known. On
weather to use kph or km/h, I don't mind, but it should be decided.
