Hello everyone, The attractive cathedral city of Winchester is one of the few areas in southern Hampshire not on the OSM map (to any great extent) yet, so it's an obvious choice for a mapping party! So come along on Oct 12-14 to help map the city. The many tree lined streets mean that it should look particularly attractive at this time of year.
The event is jointly organised with the Hampshire branch of the British Computer Society and will feature a talk on OpenStreetMap, to introduce new people to the project, on the Friday evening in addition to the actual mapping over the weekend. Actual mapping sessions will take place on Saturday and Sunday with introductory sessions in the morning.
