The information you've got here would be worth checking on - University of Kent Medway claims elsewhere to support Eduroam(/JRS) on their wireless, as we do here at Imperial.

It'll only help a little bit, since few OSMers are in a participating Eduroam Higher Education organisation, but it might come in useful to know about it.
