No idea, just says 'articles of terrorism.' I'd guess explosives, wires,

He was quite chatty so I just mentioned the GPS and map-making to see 
what he'd say. Apparently there's nothing wrong with that. Give it a 
couple of years...

I got a little worried when he found the plastic wrapper thing for some 
paracetamol in one of the pockets, although he didn't even bother to 
read the packets!

Usefully, one of his colleagues was able to tell me how to get to the 
driving theory test centre (failed, unfortunately - 3 marks short on 
hazard perception).

I guess the idea is to try and deter people from committing an 'act of 
terrorism.' I'm not certain its particularly effective. For a start 
there's another entrance where I rarely see any police, and obviously 
they can't monitor everyone coming in on trains from other stations.

The officer I was stopped by even said I wasn't actually suspected of 
anything, it was only to go on record so they could be seen to be 
stopping white people.
