The Nailsea work definitely looks like it was drawn from the Yahoo imagery as the western side is aligned to the edge of the imagery extent. That doesn't answer how the street names were obtained though. The best thing to do is zoom to maximum on the Osmarender layer and then note the various user names. You can then send these users messages via the website.
