We're being funded by Southwark Council to run a series of 'walkabouts' around Southwark Park Road and the Blue Market Place in SE16 in August. These walkabouts involve local residents, who are asked to think about what they do and don't like about the area. All participants receive refreshments and an energy saving lightbulb for their time. We facilitate these sessions, and report on the findings to the council. Southwark Park Road is currently not mapped in great detail. It would be great if you could publicise our event do those carrying out mapping and ask if someone would like to come along with us to map the area, as we are planning follow up work in the community and to have a map of the area would be fantastic.
