Hi all, I wondered if anyone has access to an large format A0 scanner?
I think the community has a gradually increasing backlog of maps that need scanning and made available. There are around 30 late 1950s OS sheets that are out of copyright, particularly around Scotland. With scanning facilities, we can make the resource available as a starting point for mapping. I much prefer having a starting layer than working on blank areas (although opinion is divided on this!) I think OS sheets are smaller than A0 in width but larger than A1... If we can do this without charge, all the better.
