The post code API at http://ernestmarples.com/ was recently discontinued due to threat of legal action.
They are calling for support including writing to you MP, petitioning the PM, etc to get the post code database available for non-profit organisations. http://ernestmarples.com/blog/take-action/ I thought you might be interested.
